- I have the same problem here.
- As long as I don't attempt to get onto the server which my local
- ISP uses, everything is at an adequate speed.
- Once I log onto that server (guitar.sound.net) all communication
- is terribly slow. My timing shows less then
- ten bytes per minute
- But I can communicate to _most_ (not all) systems around the world
- and I can especially FTP at over 3000 bytes per second from some.
- But a few systems are extremely slow.
- Some have suggested the slow systems are just busy.
- That is hogwash.
- I can communicate with those systems using my 386 at normal speed.
- It is just using the Amiga that a few sites are very slow.
